La Gavia, Almoyola, Mexico

At the core of La Gavia’s historically rich property is the extraordinary existing hacienda, surrounded by approximately 1,000 acres of numerous beautiful gardens, lakes and streams. In creating the community plan for this once-in-a-lifetime piece of land in Almoloya in central Mexico, we focused on the inherent value of the agrarian roots of the property, appreciating the importance of preserving and restoring the unique existing architectural and ecological assets. Along with the a 100 room hotel and spa at the resorted hacienda, the master plan includes an 18-hole championship golf course, a private golf club, 40 hotel villas, and a 200 stable equestrian center.
