Mountaintop, Cashiers, North Carolina, USA

We were asked by Discovery Land Company to create the overall community image in the historic mountain resort community of Cashiers in North Carolina. Working closely with Tom Fazio, we developed a Master Plan which provided a mix of hillside and creek-side estate lots nestled in the hardwood forest, mountain view estate lots and cabins and a Golf Clubhouse with stunning views of the nearby Whiteside Mountain.

The overall image of the resort is intended to evoke the feeling of an established, well-heeled mountain community utilizing covered wooden bridges and salvaged country barns to evoke a feeling of timelessness.
