Barbuda Ocean Club

From a master-planning perspective, this 700-acre project on Barbuda presented many unique challenges. The property consists of two separate parcels, each with its own identity. VITA was called upon to develop an overall masterplan, with residential and amenity packages, that would allow the two neighborhoods to complement each other. We also planned the phasing and re-purposing of buildings and resources to achieve real estate goals. This project features a Tom Fazio-designed golf course, multiple beach clubs and villages, an environmental school, family barns and two farms. Special planning has been given to building sustainability on the island and preserving the natural resources and wildlife habitat.
