Punta Sayulita

Punta Sayulita is a 10-hectare peninsula adjacent to the seaside town of Sayulita in Nayarit, Mexico. VITA is working with two separate owners to provide land planning and landscape architectural design services for the property. The peninsula is beautifully forested and visible from many parts of town. The site is extremely rugged and steep with huge granite boulders, offering limited beach access. Due to the site’s sensitivity, our efforts are oriented towards maximizing ocean and bay views while preserving this extraordinary environment by minimizing construction. The plan we developed leaves three predominant hilltops untouched and carefully controls building locations along the oceanfront.
