Cabo Del Sol

VITA is overlaying a new master plan on this legendary 1,800-acre site in Los Cabos. The new plan features a Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences; the Cove Club, a new exclusive private club and community; a Park Hyatt Hotel; and a luxury retail center. The project also includes the re-design of the two award-winning golf courses, the famed Jack Nicklaus-designed Ocean Course and the Tom Weiskopf-designed Desert Course, as well a private mountain club, hiking trails, an organic farm and several new beach clubs and amenities.

Half Moon Bay Antigua

Half Moon Bay Antigua offers guests and residents a new paradigm in ultra-luxury, Caribbean hospitality. With 3,200 feet of white coral beachfront, the 47-key Rosewood Hotel and Branded Residences will rest lightly on the land, integrating exceptional experiences and sustainability into every niche of this limited-collection offering. VITA has been instrumental in translating the owner’s vision for this 132-acre, oceanfront masterplan, which celebrates the unique settings within the greater land holding. Working closely with the property owner, Rosewood Hotels, and a world-renowned consultant team, we are actively distilling masterplan concepts into working drawings for the community amenities, Rosewood Branded Residences, Rosewood Hotel guest rooms, and the estate offerings throughout the community.

Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita

Seeking to increase the vibrancy and functional flexibility of the most influential area of the Punta Mita resort, VITA helped place-make three distinct beach amenity experiences catered to the interests of Four Seasons’ diverse clientele. Collaborating with management, we completed landscape design, site planning and detailing, furniture design and a soon-to-be-famous rustic, mobile beach bar to bring this sexy remodel into fruition.

Kona Village

We are working closely with the property owner to develop a new vision for Kona Village. The goal is to reposition the property as a premiere cottage-styled Hawaiian resort while preserving its “barefoot elegance” and rustic charm. In keeping with this spirit, we will create a distinctive sense of place, incorporating an authentic Polynesian and pan-Pacific cultural identity while maintaining a casual, unpretentious environment. Working carefully with the natural landscape, we will accentuate the experience by creating a romantic “lost-world” experience.

Villa Vanucci

This 5,000 square-foot home in Sonoma’s wine country, features four bedrooms, media room, sleeping tower, and a variety of cozy outdoor spaces for dining and entertaining. VITA artfully landscaped the 36-acre grounds, incorporating traditional materials with contemporary design elements. Features include a swimming pool with infinity-edge design, diving rock, and separate spa just steps from the terrace. The property also includes bocce ball and sport courts, five-acre vineyard, organic vegetable gardens and a fruit orchard. At the entry, a striking water feature is integrated into the limestone staircase, offering an intriguing counterpoint to the panoramic hilltop views.

Shingle-Style Residence

This home sits on a gently sloping five-acre property in the historic Village of Cherry Hills, just outside of Denver, Colorado. The client desired an architectural expression reminiscent of the grand shingle-style estates of the early 1900s. VITA worked diligently with the architect to preserve the dozens of existing mature oaks, maples and fir trees while incorporating the various design elements into the property. These included a 25,000 square-foot home, lap pool and pool house, paddle-tennis court, decorative pond, and expansive lawn. The result is a series of garden rooms with uncomplicated, pleasing forms and details constructed from natural wood and stone, as would have been done 100 years ago.

Tropical Craftsman Home

One of Hawaii’s 25 most expensive homes, VITA was commissioned to assist the owner with the acquisition of multiple parcels and the design of the two-acre oceanfront estate. In addition to landscape design, VITA worked closely with the architect to properly site the buildings allowing them to capture spectacular views and cooling tropical breezes.

Beachfront Estate

VITA was commissioned to design the outdoor living spaces for this beachfront home in Cabo San Lucas with an emphasis on entertaining. The small, but dramatic, site lent itself to a multi-level garden approach. The plan welcomes guests into the home through the upper level, directing their view to the main terrace below where an infinity-edge pool bleeds into the Pacific Ocean. Beneath the pool is a lavish Turkish bath-inspired entertainment grotto with an inviting spa, bar and private alcoves for television viewing and lounging. All are richly detailed with handmade tiles, carved stone columns, mandalas and custom light fixtures.

Hawaiian Stone House

This oceanfront estate at Kuki’o in Kona, Hawaii is defined by the natural features of the Hawaiian shoreline and anchialine ponds. VITA was involved from its earliest conception, working closely with the homeowners and architect to create a landscape plan that complemented the elegant simplicity of the architecture while capturing the essence of the home’s natural surroundings.

Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club

VITA worked closely with the developer, Discovery Land Company, to create a comprehensive masterplan for this 600-acre private golf and beach club community. Special care was taken to ensure the vision was capable of capturing the island’s distinctive sense of place, while preserving fragile elements of its natural ecosystem. At completion, Baker’s Bay included 250 homesites, a marina village and 200-slip marina, a Tom Fazio-designed tropical links-style golf course, and a private beach club focusing on family-oriented fun, wellness and outdoor adventures. Along with this, the masterplan set aside several acres to preserve space for indigenous land crabs, as well as unique vegetation associations only found on Great Guana Cay. We also devised stringent shoreline regulations concerning setbacks, as well as strict clearing and grading controls to further protect the island environment.
