Amangiri, Castelfalfi and Kona Village make The Gold List 2026

In the 32nd annual Gold List, published on December 15, 2025, the editors of Conde Nast Traveler made a list and checked it twice before going on the record with their favorite places to stay across the globe. Vita, Inc. was involved with each of these world-class venues: Utah’s Amangiri, Italy’s Castelfalfi and Hawaii’s Kona Village made the cut.

CASTELFALFI | AMANGIRI | KONA VILLAGE

Sonoma County Residence

With climate charts indicating hotter, drier conditions in many areas, “at VITA, our design philosophy for landscape architecture is to work with nature, not against it,” Lisa Baker, managing principal, said in a recent article in The Agency magazine.

Victoria Ward Park

This recent Fast Company magazine article features VITA’s landscape vision for Honolulu’s Victory Ward Park, which naturally unfolds to reveal special settings like the elegant pedestrian bridge spanning Ala Moana Boulevard. The park opens to a lush courtyard where families and friends spend shady afternoons in an unmistakably Hawaiian setting nearby Oahu’s most storied stretch of sand.

Victoria Place

December 2024, Howard Hughes opened the doors to Victoria Place, a 40-story, luxury residential tower offering panoramic ocean and Diamond Head views. With every detail thoughtfully considered, VITA’s landscape plan for Victoria Place reflects Honolulu’s natural beauty, from the ground-level courtyard garden to the 5th floor amenity deck overlooking the endless possibilities for adventure.

Kona Village

At Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort (Konavillage.com), VITA’s landscape design incorporates the restoration of native Hawaii’s biodiversity to add natural harmony and enhance the sense of place. By honoring the history of the land and culture, Kona Village has now reestablished its unique appeal along the Big Island’s Kahuwai Bay where a modern approach to a centuries-old way of life continues to captivate.
